Hi @slapper59,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds frustrating to encounter those issues, especially with a new printer and deadlines looming. Let's tackle them one by one.

  • Photo Tray Blocking: Yes, you can remove the photo tray if it's causing obstruction. There should be a way to gently pull it out or lift it up depending on the model. Check your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this safely.
  • Noisy Printing: Printers can make various noises during operation, but if it's unusually loud, it might indicate a problem. Check if there's any paper jammed or if any foreign objects are stuck inside. Also, make sure the printer is placed on a flat, stable surface to reduce vibrations that could amplify noise.
  • Printing Issue: If your printer isn't printing at all, there could be several reasons. First, check if there's enough ink or toner in the cartridges. Also, ensure that the paper is loaded correctly and there are no paper jams. Sometimes restarting the printer or reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer can also resolve printing issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
