Do you use wireless connection or ethernet connection? If it is wireless, could you please check if the WIFI Icon lights up with static Blue color? You could press 'info' button to print out information page with error details.
User Guide page 7 shows link to light pattern description. You may need check the LCD error code /icon display to identify the issue. If the printer is connected and shown in HP Smart app home page, you can also check the printer status/error from there.
