It sounds like your HP M28a printer is encountering a "rbx-load" error after an update. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

 

Restart the Printer: Sometimes a simple restart can help clear errors. Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.

 

Check Connections: Ensure that all cables are securely connected. If you’re using a USB connection, try a different port or cable. If it’s networked, ensure it’s connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

 

Reinstall the Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Support website @ https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
  • Search for your printer model and download the latest drivers.
  • Uninstall the current drivers from your computer before installing the new ones.

Use the HP Smart App: If you have the HP Smart app, try using it to set up the printer again. The app may help identify issues.

 

Firmware Update: Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer on the HP website. Sometimes, new updates can resolve compatibility issues.

 

Reset the Printer: You can perform a factory reset on the printer. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do this.
