Hi @Jaxbv

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

This issue with your HP OfficeJet 4630 printer not powering on at home but working fine elsewhere suggests a potential problem with the electrical setup at your home.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

1. Test Different Outlets at Home:

  • Plug the printer into multiple outlets in your home to rule out a specific outlet issue.
  • Ensure the outlets are functional by testing them with another device, like a lamp or phone charger.

2. Avoid Surge Protectors or Extension Cords:

  • Connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Sometimes, surge protectors or extension cords can interfere with the power supply.

3. Check Voltage Compatibility:

  • Verify that the voltage in your home matches the printer's power requirements. If there's a mismatch, you may need a voltage stabilizer or converter.

4. Inspect the Power Cord and Adapter:

  • Ensure the power cord and adapter are in good condition and securely connected.
  • If you have access to another compatible power cord, test it to rule out a faulty cord.

5. Perform a Power Reset:

  • Disconnect the printer from the power source.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15-30 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reconnect the printer to a different outlet and try powering it on.

6. Check for Electrical Interference:

  • Ensure there are no devices nearby that could cause electrical interference, such as microwaves or large appliances.
