Hi @Pain2Print,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Officejet 4635 is encountering an error with the error code "0XB8111CAE" and the power light is flashing. This error usually indicates a hardware issue, which might require some troubleshooting steps to resolve. Here are a few steps you can try.

  • Reset the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear out temporary errors.
  • Check for paper jams: Even if you can't see any paper stuck in the printer, there might be a small piece of paper blocking the sensors. Open up the printer's cover and check carefully for any obstructions.
  • Inspect ink cartridges: Sometimes, issues with ink cartridges can cause error codes. Open the printer cover and gently move the carriage to access the cartridges. Check if any of them are improperly seated or empty. If necessary, remove and reinsert the cartridges.
  • Clean the printer: Dust and debris can accumulate inside the printer and cause various issues. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the exterior and interior of the printer.
  • Update firmware: If possible, check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and bugs.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
