Hi @Luckeelady,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it must be when your HP 4200 printer isn't printing, especially with the power button blinking. Let’s try a few troubleshooting steps to get it working again:

Step 1: Check for Error Messages

  • If there’s an error message on the printer or your computer, note it down. It can give clues about the issue.

Step 2: Power Cycle the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for about 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Step 3: Check Paper and Cartridge Issues

  • Ensure there’s no paper jam. Open the printer and look for any stuck paper.
  • Check if the toner cartridge is properly installed and has enough toner.

Step 4: Check Connection & Print Queue

  • If the printer is connected via USB, try a different port or cable.
  • If using Wi-Fi, restart your router.
  • Clear any stuck print jobs in Control Panel > Devices & Printers > HP 4200 > See What’s Printing, then cancel any pending jobs.

If the issue persists, let me know if the power button blinks in a specific pattern or color, it could indicate a specific error.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
