I Don't Know How to Summarizes This

My Officejet 4622 just started doing something I can't explain. I have been printing on card stock for awhile. I have a flea booth and I print my item tickets. Changed from white to red a month or so back. It would only print a third or sometimes half a page, every time. Change back to white, works perfect.... Until now. Last night I tried to print some tickets and i got a print that has 2 different files on it printed on white card stock. Put in a piece of paper, works perfect. Change back to card stock, prints 2 files on top of each other. Tried scanning in the good paper print. Printed PDF file on paper and it was great. Printed it on card stock and I get 2 files printed on top of each other.  I checked the saved Corel file and it is good. Where is this other file coming from as I haven't loaded it to print? And why do I get perfect prints on paper... which I can't use.

     All this just started. I've been printing these files on card stock for almost a year. Looking for answers. Thanks

I reviewed your post and understand that you are facing issues printing card stocks.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the printer was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you run the print and scan doctor on your computer and check if it helps.

If the issue persists, I recommend you follow the below steps.

 

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’

6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Restart the PC

14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.

15.) Connect the USB cable ONLY when prompted and follow the on-screen instructions.
