I Installed HP Smart . While trying to print through it i get a mirror printing

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I Installe HP Smart , while tring to print through ( IN Hebrew ) , I get a mirror format.

How do i Fix that ?

If the document you are printing has any English (left to right language reading), then the application will likely "see" that and mirror your document.  Yes, I know - we just saw similar "Scan" issue a while ago and the issue was just that.  The application could not handle having both languages in the PDF file and flipped it around for reading left-to-right.

 

What to do?

 

Not sure - I don't speak Hebrew and I cannot work with the app in that language.

 

Ideas

 

  • Check / adjust the setting is in the application where it controls language and location.
  • Re-scan in HP Smart > Edit > Flip and Print
  • Print as image using Adobe Reader DC

 

Example:  HP Smart (Windows) > Printer Settings > Printer Information

HP Smart Windows

Scan the "wrong way" document that you printed and Edit the scan to flip the content around the way you want.

After the edits, before closing / saving the content, see if you can Print the "corrected" version.

Will that work?  Maybe - print just one page in the document to test.

Print your document using other software,

For example - if it is available in your region, try using Adobe Reader DC.

 

Print PDF File

Example - Adobe Reader DC  - Main Print Menu

Open document in Reader DC

Click the print icon...

Adjust the settings on the main menu

Click Properties to select the Shortcut and add the paper size

Click OK to save the changes and exit the Properties menu

Back on the main print menu, when ready, click Print

 

If the printed content balks or flips around,

Try printing the document as an Image

 

If the file will not print due to unusual content (odd fonts, color schemes, tables, other oddities), print the file as an Image.  Image printing does not require the printer software to translate file content.

 

  1. Open the offending document in Adobe Reader DC
  1. Click Print icon > Set other options on the menu > Click Advanced button
  1. Set the printer select the colors (Optional)
  2. Select Print the PDF file as an image

Reinstall / Update your PDF Reader (Adobe Reader DC /Optional  Foxit Reader)

HINT:  Watch out for and UNCHECK unwanted extra software

 

NOTE:  Adobe Reader DC software can be installed even if you do not normally open / view / print PDF files directly from the Adobe Reader DC software.
