@sawtown150, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Reassembling Your HP Envy 6000e!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Here are the general steps you can follow to reassemble your HP Envy 6000e printer after partially disassembling it to clear a paper jam:

Examine the Disassembled Parts:

  • Identify all parts that were removed during disassembly. Make sure you have all parts needed for reassembly.

Reattach External Covers:

  • If you've removed any outer covers or panels, start by reattaching those.
  • Line up the cover clips or screws and secure them properly.

Insert Internal Components:

  • Begin with any internal parts or components that were removed.
  • Ensure that all components are placed in their correct positions and securely attached.

Reinstall Paper Trays:

  • Reinsert any paper trays or feeders that were taken out during disassembly.
  • Ensure they are properly aligned and slide smoothly into place.

Reconnect Any Disconnected Wires:

  • If any wires or cables were disconnected, reconnect them carefully.
  • Pay attention to the connectors and ensure they are securely attached without forcing them.

Close Access Doors:

  • Close any access doors or panels that you've opened during the disassembly.
  • Make sure they lock or snap shut correctly.

Power and Test:

  • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer on.
  • Check for any error messages and test print to ensure everything is functioning properly.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
