I have printed from this printer before, but now it wont print. I am connected through usb because my campus wifi doesn't allow student printers to be on the wifi. It shows that my computer is connected to it and I have done the doctor multiple times. It just wont do the test print. Or print anything else. It will say printing for a while, then show error.

I understand you are not able to print. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Print a self-test page

Press and hold the Cancel button  for 3 seconds.

A Printer Status Report prints.

 

Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win 10 PC
