Hi @OLU9

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for sharing that—it's understandably frustrating when your HP ENVY 6055e only prints the Printer Information Report and nothing else. This behavior typically points to a setup or account-related block, especially with printers enrolled in HP+ or requiring HP Smart app integration.

Here’s a structured path to help restore full printing functionality:

Step-by-Step Fix for HP ENVY 6055e Only Printing Information Report

1. Check HP Account Status

  • Sign in at www.hpsmart.com.
  • Confirm that your printer is listed and shows as connected.
  • If it shows “Needs Attention” or “Setup Incomplete,” remove and re-add the printer using the printer code (found on the info sheet).

2. Complete Setup via HP Smart App

  • Open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.
  • Remove the printer from the app if already added.
  • Re-add it using “Add Printer” and follow the full setup flow.
  • Ensure you complete account linking, cloud services activation, and firmware updates if prompted.

3. Check Web Services and Connectivity

  • Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS) by entering the printer’s IP address (e.g., http://192.168.x.x) in a browser.
  • Navigate to the Web Services tab.
  • If disabled, enable it and confirm internet connectivity.

4. Update Firmware

  • Visit the official support page:
HP ENVY 6055e Drivers & Firmware
  • Download and install the latest firmware to ensure compatibility with HP Smart and HP+ features.

5. Try Printing from a Different App

  • Open a document in Word, PDF viewer, or browser and try printing directly.
  • If the printer only responds to the Copy button or info sheet, it may still be in setup lock.

You’ve already taken the right steps by printing the info sheet—let’s make sure your printer responds to real jobs without restriction.

If you'd like help navigating the EWS or interpreting setup status, I’m here to guide you through it.

@Hawks_Eye Thank you for your well detailed information, I'm super grateful. My printer HP ENVY 600 All-in-One Printer series is still not working. Here is the error message on the Printer Information Report. ''Printer cannot print''; A problem has occurred and you will be unable to print, except for printer reports until the issue is resolved. Check your HP account for more information. To learn more, open HP Smart app or visit www.hpsmart.com and sign in to your account. From my HP Smart app, the dashboard is showing Cartridge or Account issue. The Printer Information Report printed is clear without any blur. I really need your help to get back on track, looking forward to read from you.
