Hi @ButtercupsCrank,

I got you! Since it’s tax season, let’s get your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e printing ASAP. let’s narrow down the issue a bit so that i have a better understanding of the issue.

  1. Does the printer turn on properly? (Any error messages or blinking lights?)
  2. How is the printer connected? (Wi-Fi, USB, or Ethernet?)
  3. Can you print a test page from the printer itself?
    • On the printer touchscreen, go to SetupReportsPrint Quality Report.
  4. Does the printer show "Offline" on your computer or device?
  5. Are the ink cartridges installed properly, and is there enough ink?
  6. Does the print job get stuck in the queue, or does the printer respond at all?

remember the more information you give the better I can assist you.

Meanwhile here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try to get your printer running.

1. Restart Everything

  • Power cycle the printer: Turn it off, unplug it for 60 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Restart your computer and router (if using Wi-Fi).

2. Check Ink & Paper

  • Ensure the ink cartridges are seated properly.
  • Make sure there’s paper in the tray and it’s aligned correctly.

4. Clear Print Queue

  • On Windows, open Control PanelDevices and Printers → Right-click your printer → See what's printingCancel all documents.
  • On Mac, go to System SettingsPrinters & Scanners → Click the printer → Open Print QueueCancel all jobs.

5. Check Connection & Driver Updates

  • If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the right network.
  • Try printing from another device to see if the issue is with the printer or computer.
  • Update the printer drivers from HP’s website.

6. Try Printing a Different Document

  • See if the issue is document-specific by printing a different file.
  • Print a test page directly from the printer's touchscreen menu.

Let me know what happens after these steps, and I’ll guide you further! 😊
