If your HP ENVY Photo 7130 All-in-One Printer isn't giving you the option to print in color, here are a few things you can check.
Check Printer Settings:
- On your computer, go to Control Panel (Windows) or System Preferences (Mac).
- Navigate to Printers & Scanners (Windows) or Printers & Scanners (Mac).
- Select your HP ENVY Photo 7130 printer and click Manage or Options & Supplies.
- Look for Printing Preferences or Properties. Ensure that the Color option is selected.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure that the color ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Replace any empty cartridges with new ones.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
- Install the drivers and see if this resolves the issue.
Printer Firmware:
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP Support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve issues.
Print Head Alignment:
- Perform a print head alignment from the printer's control panel or HP Smart app. Misalignment can sometimes cause issues with color printing.
Printer Software:
- Open the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant (depending on your operating system) and check for any settings related to color printing.
Reset Printer:
- Try resetting the printer to its factory settings. This can sometimes resolve configuration issues.
