Hi there,
My printer was working fine until a long power outage in my area last Tuesday. Once the power came back on, the printer will not work. It shows a 'USE SETUP' error, only for the black ink (K). I only use HP ink 923 and now it won't recognize it. It seems to be okay for the other 3 colours. The black ink cartridge was replaced over a month ago and worked fine until the power outage.
I don't have setup cartridges and don't ever remember having to use those when I set up the printer last September.
I hope you are able to resolve this for me. I use my printer almost daily and have been without for a week now. I have had to ask other people to print things for me.
