Hello,
The error indicates either a Paper Jam or Carriage Jam. I'd suggest you to do a power cycle by powering off the printer by pressing the power button on the printer. If the printer does not power off, then unplug the power cord from back of the unit.
Wait for 60 seconds. Connect the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet ( bypass the surge protector / power strip ), and then connect to back o the printer.
