my printer is displaying a printer failure message on the screen
Display says " There is a problem with the printer or ink system. turn printer off, then on, if problem persists, contact HP"
I did try with the Reset method couple of times by removing the power chord waiting for couple of minutes and powering on did not solve also tried removing all cartridges and did not see any obstructions.
it just happened once i installed my first instant ink subscription package.
How can I solve this issue please help.

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Restart the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Wait for 60 seconds and connect the power cord back in.
- Turn on the printer.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows only):
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.
