Hi @Mi85

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like air is getting into the ink tubes of your HP Ink Tank 319, causing missing colors when printing.

Since you’ve already extracted the air and noticed that closing the tubes restores the color, the issue likely stems from air leaks in the ink system.

Steps to Fix Air in Ink Tubes:

1. Check for Loose Connections

  • Ensure the ink tube connectors are tightly sealed.
  • If the categ (cartridge or cap) is allowing air in, try reseating it securely.

2. Perform a Deep Cleaning Cycle

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to SetupMaintenanceDeep Cleaning.
  • This will force ink through the tubes and remove trapped air.

3. Manually Prime the Ink System

  • Open the ink tank compartment and check for air bubbles.
  • If air is present, gently tilt the printer to help ink flow properly.

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit the HP Support page for your HP Ink Tank 319.
  • Download and install the latest firmware update.

Let me know if any of these steps help! I appreciate your patience while we work through this.
