I have a six-page document that I am printing. All the pages but page #4 print without problems, but page #4 only prints an inch of the top. Any suggestions as to what is causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi @NancyCL1950 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand there might be a specific issue with page #4 of your document. Here are a few suggestions to troubleshoot the problem:

Check the Document:

  • Verify the Content: Make sure there's nothing unusual about page #4 in the document itself. Open the document in your editing software and see if the page looks normal there.
  • Page Size and Margins: Ensure that page #4 doesn't have incorrect settings for size or margins that might be causing the issue.

Print Preview:

  • Preview the Page: Before printing, use the print preview option to see if page #4 appears correctly. If it doesn’t, you may need to adjust settings.

Printer Settings:

  • Paper Size and Type: Confirm that the paper size and type settings in your printer preferences match the actual paper loaded in the printer.
  • Print Quality: Try changing the print quality settings (e.g., from Normal to Draft or High Quality) to see if that makes a difference.

Update Drivers:

  • Printer Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can usually find the latest drivers on the HP website.

Check for Jams:

  • Paper Jams: Inspect the printer for any paper jams or obstructions that might be affecting the print job.

Test Print:

  • Print Test Page: Try printing a test page or another document with similar content to see if the issue persists.

Printer Reset:

  • Reset the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart of the printer can resolve odd printing issues.

Recreate the Document:

  • Recreate Page #4: If nothing else works, try copying the content of page #4 into a new document and print it separately.

Refer to this document: HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer User manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
