HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I think I have pages to print that are stuck in Que. Because of trying to cancel a print job that already started. So it will not print these or any new print requests.   .

Hi @Jim891,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer is stuck due to a print queue jam on Windows 11, likely caused by a cancelled job that didn’t clear properly. We can fix it with a few recommended steps.

Step-by-Step: Clear Stuck Print Queue

1. Cancel All Print Jobs

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers
  • Right-click your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e > Select See what’s printing
  • In the print queue window:
    • Click Printer > Cancel All Documents
    • Confirm and close the window

2. Restart the Print Spooler Service

This resets the Windows printing system.

  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter
  2. Scroll down to Print Spooler
  3. Right-click > Stop
  4. Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
    • Delete all files in this folder (these are stuck jobs)
  5. Go back to Services, right-click Print Spooler > Start

3. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer
  • Unplug it from the power source for 60 seconds
  • Plug it back in and turn it on

4. Try a Test Print

  • Open a simple document (like Notepad)
  • Try printing again to confirm the queue is clear
