Product: office jet pro 7740
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the same issue, my officejet pro printer said in the door that the cartridges needed are 954 but I couldn't find them anywere, so I bought the compatible 952 (according to your table) and after installing the printer said that those cartrigdes were not made for that printer.  I have done all the steps in your troubleshooting and I still get the same warning. Please, I spend too much money for those orginal cartridges, I need a solution fast.
