Ink cartridge not working OfficeJet 5258

HP Recommended
OfficeJet 5258
Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

I have an OfficeJet 5258 printer.  When I check the ink, it shows me having 50% of my black in remaining.  When I print either in black and white or color, the black ink isnt printing.  I have re-inserted the ink cartridge and still the same issue.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Or what suggestions do you have?  I will go and buy another cartridge but i would prefer to use all of the ink first in my current cartridge if possible.

Thank you!

You can try soaking just the printhead in hot water for about 5 mins.

Dry the cartridge & try printing.
