@Sprecia,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Kindly follow the below steps:

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer while it is ON.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait for at least 2-3 minutes to let the internal memory clear.
  4. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid power strips).
  5. Reconnect the power cable to the printer and turn it on.

Check for a Stuck Power Button

  • Press the power button several times to see if it’s stuck.
  • Try pressing and holding it for 10-15 seconds to force a shutdown.

Perform a Firmware Recovery (if possible)

If the printer restarts but remains stuck:

  1. Go to HP’s firmware update page: HP Customer Support
  2. Enter your printer model and download the latest firmware update.
  3. Connect the printer to a computer via USB and run the firmware update tool.

4: Check for Hardware Issues

If none of the above steps work:

  • The power supply board or firmware chip may be faulty.
  • If under warranty, contact HP Support for a replacement.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
