Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen?
Do you have an HP Instant Ink subscription for the printer? If not, are there any HP Instant Ink cartridges in the printer? Without an active HP Instant Ink account, any Instant Ink cartridges will need to be replaced with retail cartridges.
