Solved!

Ireland HP recycle point

HP Recommended
officejet 4650
My officejer 4650 didn't work, after contacting withthe Customer support, they said they would send me a new printer, and I need to “ drop defective to recycle point”, and could anybody tell me what does it mean?

Does it mean that there is a HP recycle point somewhere or I can just drop the broken one to any recycle point?

And I am in Galway, Ireland, if I need to drop it to the HP recycle point, where can I find it in Galway or are there any other methods for me to drop it off?

Thank you very much

Thank youfor your reply

So do you mean that I should fill the form and use HP take-back program in Ireland in order to recycle my broken printer?

Hi,

The Take back is for enterprise customers, for end users in the same above link there is a advice please refer the same.

Attaching the same context below for reference.

The European Union's WEEE Directive has been implemented in Ireland and the recycling of electronic products is now operational. In Ireland as of 13 August 2005, HP consumer customers will be able to return their IT products to their local dealer when they buy a new product of equivalent type or which fulfills the same functions, or take them to municipal collection points. In both cases, this service is free. If you would like more information, consult www.erp-recycling.org and follow the Irish link.

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
