Hi @EPLVR

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The error code UA_400_EB000U0410 appears during HP App setup or account registration. It indicates that the HP account could not be activated, the network connection is unstable, or the printer setup is incomplete.

Why this error occurs

  • HP account activation issue: The app cannot validate your login or registration details.
  • Network connection problem: Wi‑Fi or internet interruptions prevent the app from completing setup.
  • Incomplete printer setup: If the printer hardware is not fully initialized, the app cannot finish registration.

Steps to resolve

1. Check your internet connection

  • Ensure your PC or mobile device is connected to a stable Wi‑Fi network.
  • Restart your router and reconnect to the network.

2. Sign out and sign back in to the HP App

  • Open the HP App.
  • Sign out of your HP account.
  • Sign back in with your correct credentials.

3. Restart the printer and device

  • Power off the printer and unplug it for 30 seconds.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device.
  • Power the printer back on and retry setup.

4. Update the HP App

  • Download the latest version of the HP App from the HP App Overview page.
  • Updates often fix registration and connectivity errors.

5. Complete printer hardware setup

  • Make sure cartridges are installed, paper is loaded, and the printer is on the same Wi‑Fi network as your device.
  • Retry the setup through the HP App.

6. Use HP App Diagnose & Fix

  • In the HP App, select your printer.
  • Run Diagnose & Fix to automatically detect and repair setup issues.
