LaserJet 200 Low Memory

macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Continually getting low memory error when attempting to print.  Have gone through the advice of resetting the printer and clearing memory; no help. Config report indicates that the total memory is 128MB, but only 60.4MB is available.  No firmware updates are available. Why only 60MB available? What is taking up the rest of the memory? What other procedures can I go through to attempt to clear out whatever is in the memory?

I understand you are getting a low memory error on the printer.

 

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Memory is Low message displayed on the control panel

 

If the issue persists, we will have to perform an NVRAM reset on the printer

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
