HP Recommended

HP Laserjet MFP M426fdw will suddenly not print a document.

 

Mac OS Sequoia 15.4.1...MacMini M4

 

Connected to LAN via ethernet cable... has worked faultlessly for years

 

Go to APPLE -->  System Settings --> Printers & Scanners --> 

 

On Printer list red dot appears on printer icon for HP Laserjet MFP M426fdw with “Error, Default

  

Canon PRO-100 Printer has Green Dot & Prints OK

 

HP Laserjet MFP M426fdw (Fax) (same Printer) has Green Dot  & works OK (sends a fax without difficulty)

 

Trying to print results in a message beginning with a red dot/exclamation mark & the message “Expired Certificate – Check Printer for Errors

 

Have removed the printer & used HP Smart App to reinstall  problem remains
