Hello, I have a Laserjet Pro 200 Color that will not turn on. I've tried a different power cord and outlet. I've tried unplugging it for a while and then plugging it back in. I do not see any flash of light on the power button when plugging it in either. Anyone have any suggestions? I hate to throw it away as I have three brand new toner cartridges for it that are past the return window.

Thanks.

Hi @jftrmn,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've already tried some basic troubleshooting steps. Since the HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color printer is not showing any signs of power when plugged in, here are a few more things you can try.

  • Check Power Source: Ensure that the power outlet you're using is working by plugging in another device.
  • Inspect Power Cord and Connections: Make sure the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and the power outlet. Check for any signs of damage to the cord.
  • Reset the Printer: Sometimes a power reset can resolve issues. Unplug the power cord from the printer while it's still plugged into the power outlet. Wait at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Inspect Internal Connections: If you're comfortable with electronics, you can open the printer (if it's out of warranty) and check the internal connections to ensure everything is securely connected.
  • Check for Tripped Circuit Breaker or Fuse: Ensure that the circuit breaker or fuse for the outlet you're using hasn't tripped or blown.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Alden4, the only thing I haven't already checked is this one:

  • Inspect Internal Connections: If you're comfortable with electronics, you can open the printer (if it's out of warranty) and check the internal connections to ensure everything is securely connected.

Is there a guide or anything on what to do?

Thank you
