Hi @clamskalko,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are trying to reset the printer to defaults.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

LaserJet M15W system has several components and you may find that some of these components are not working well or in a properly aligned manner. You may want to adjust one of the components in your network, for example, the network card. The device driver for this particular component is supplied by the manufacturer and will allow the device to function properly when it is installed in the correct manner. However, you may find that there are problems with this component that are blocking the communication between your printer and the server ( 192.168.1.1 ) In this case, you will need help from a professional who can make the necessary adjustments to the LaserJet M15W system.

Some of the other elements that are commonly malfunctioning in networks are firewalls and antivirus programs. This might seem like a simple component and it is, but the fact is that a malicious program can easily hijack your printer from you and then set it to use the old default setting, without your permission or knowledge. So, if you think you need help to change network settings, you need to contact a professional immediately. You can never be too sure when someone with malicious intent is lurking behind the firewall or under the cloak of an anti-virus program. It's better safe than sorry.

When you are working with any computer system, you need to always keep it updated. The latest drivers will ensure that your printer will work with the latest technologies and that your network will work efficiently. Your office network must have the latest security to protect all of your computers, including all of your printers. If you are not sure if your security is up to date, then you should contact a professional today. If you are a skilled computer person, then it should not be difficult for you to accomplish this task.
