Hi @Kay1606,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thank you for contacting HP Support. We understand your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer was dead, and after unplugging it, multiple lights started flashing, and now the printer is not responding.
Let's try some steps to get your printer back to normal:
Step 1: Perform a Hard Reset
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Disconnect any USB or Ethernet cables.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
- Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
Step 2: Check for Any Error Lights or Messages
- Note which lights are flashing and their pattern (e.g., power light, ink light, paper light).
- If you see any error codes or messages on the printer display, please share them for more detailed help.
Step 3: Printer Paper and Ink Cartridge Check
- Make sure there is paper loaded in the input tray.
- Check if the ink cartridges are installed correctly and the ink access door is fully closed.
Step 4: Update Firmware
If the printer powers on, connect it to your Wi-Fi or computer and update the firmware using the HP Smart app or by visiting:

I hope this helps.
