Hi @Unicornkim61,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like your HP desktop printer, model Jet 2752e, is experiencing some issues with its lights flashing. Here's what the lights typically indicate.

  • X Button Flashing: This could indicate an error or issue with the printer. The specific error code associated with the flashing X button can help diagnose the problem.
  • Resume Button On Solid: A solid light on the Resume button usually indicates that the printer is ready to print or that there's a paper jam that needs attention.
  • Wi-Fi Button Flashing: The flashing Wi-Fi button indicates that the printer is trying to establish or maintain a Wi-Fi connection. This could be due to network issues or incorrect Wi-Fi settings.
  • Information Button Flashing: The flashing Information button often indicates that the printer has some informational message or status to convey, such as low ink levels or a maintenance issue.

Given this information, here's what you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer's cover and check for any paper jams. If you find any, carefully remove the jammed paper.
  • Check Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings if there are any issues.
  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check for Error Messages: If there's a specific error code associated with the flashing X button, refer to the printer's manual or HP's support documentation to identify the problem and troubleshoot accordingly.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer and install them. Updated firmware can often resolve compatibility issues and improve performance.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
