Hi @Jim-AL,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the lights on your HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer keep flashing and stop temporarily when you press the power button, it may indicate an issue with the printer's firmware, network connection, or an internal error. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this.

Power Reset:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source while it is on.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.
  • Check if the lights stabilize.

Check Network Connection:

  • If the printer is connected to WiFi, make sure it has a strong and stable connection.
  • Reconnect the printer to your network by using the HP Smart app or manually through the printer’s settings.

Update Firmware:

  • Go to the HP Support page and check if a firmware update is available for your model.
  • Download and install the update through HP Smart or a USB connection.

Reset the Printer Settings:

  • On the printer, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons until the Power button and wireless light start to flash.
  • This resets the network settings, allowing you to reconnect the printer.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (if available on your computer):

  • This tool can automatically detect and resolve connection and firmware issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
