@567Ness, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To move the cartridge cradle back to the center of your HP printer for loading or installation of new cartridges, you should follow these steps:

Power On the Printer: Ensure that your printer is turned on. Press the power button if necessary.

Open the Top Cover: Gently lift the top cover or access door of your printer. This action should automatically move the cartridge cradle to the center position to give you access to the cartridges.

Wait for the Carriage to Settle: Allow the cartridge cradle to completely stop moving. It may take a few seconds for it to position itself correctly in the middle.

Replace or Install Cartridges: Once the cradle is in the center, proceed to load the cartridges. If you are replacing a cartridge, carefully remove the old one before installing a new one.

Close the Top Cover: After you have installed the cartridges, close the top cover securely.

If you follow these steps and the cradle still does not move to the center or there is an issue, try turning the printer off and back on again and repeat the process. Make sure that there are no obstructions or errors that might be preventing the cradle from moving as it should.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
