Was attempting to install new firmware and power went out mid-stream.   Have the NP12F1722 (software drivers) installed but shows "driver unavailable."  The Attention and Ready lights are on steady.  When turning on, the attention light will flash 6 times, flash twice and then flash 6 more times.  After that, the attention light and ready lights come on steady.  Have attempted to reset letting the printer sit for 24 hours unplugged.  Did not work.  Have attempted to re-load the firmware.  Did not work.  Have attempted to reload software.  Did not work.  Out of options needing assistance.

If you plug in a USB cable to the printer and computer does the computer make the USB device connected noise? If yes, you may be able to save the printer by following the instructions posted here several times for "ready 2 download" shows on the screen. If you do not get the acknowledge noise when connecting via USB the. Likely the formatter or DC controller is corrupted and the only solution  would be to replace parts.
