Help!! I have searched the community but everything I have found does not work. I cannot get the firmware removed that they automatically sent to my printer making my 3rd party toner cartridges not work anymore. Can anyone send me the steps??
thanks in advance!

@Cash7979, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Keep me posted.

I tried clicking your link to access your private message but received the following message: “You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.” I’m signed in appropriately. Please help me to fix this printer issue. Will this downgrade my firmware so that I can now use non-HP ink?
