MFP M477

Problem: Printing Light Lines and sometimes the Color is Missing

 

Solution: 

Cause and Effect: After replacing the Fuser unit in the M477 I realized that prints very very light and sometimes the a color would be missing, there is a little ribbon cable connected to the engine control board that has to be removed when replacing the fuser unit, be very careful when reinserting that little cable because he can fray at the edges and cause Image quality issues with the toner.

Sometimes you will have to cut the leading edge of that cable just a little to reinsert, let me know if you have found this solution helpful
