Do you have a network connection on the printer already? It may be trying to download from the internet and has frozen if there is not a connection. Also can  you post a picture of the error?

Screen on printer has Yellow triangle with Exclamation inside.  Says: Updating: Engine Firmware

Has been like this for 3+ hours.  This screen came up overnight. Really afraid to power cycle.

I was stuck at the same place.  The visual of that message is deceiving.  If you look to the right, there is a scroll bar.  Even though it doesn't look like it, there is more of the message to be seen.  When you scroll down to see the rest of the message, the "Next" button becomes active.  It is not downloading anything on the screen.  It is just telling you to set it up for automatic updates.  The next screen allows you to do that or not as your prefer.

PaulV99 - Brilliant!!! Thanks!!! That was the problem... after I read your note I saw the scroll bar but i didn't notice it before and thought I would be stuck at "Next" forever!
