@Clive_242, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M3302fdw is not printing emails in color, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Verify Printer Settings

Make sure your printer's settings are configured to print in color.

  • Open the printer properties or settings on your computer.
  • Navigate to the "Printing Preferences" or "Advanced" settings.
  • Ensure the color printing option is selected.

2. Check Email Client Settings

Sometimes, the email client settings might be configured to print in monochrome.

  • Open your email client.
  • Go to the print settings within the client.
  • Ensure that the print option selected is set to color rather than grayscale or black and white.

3. Update Printer Software and Drivers

Ensure that your printer drivers and software are up to date.

  • Visit the HP Support website and enter your printer model to find the latest drivers and firmware updates.
  • Download and install any available updates.

4. Use a Different Application

Try printing your email from a different application or web browser to determine if the issue is specific to the email client.

5. Perform a Printhead Alignment

Perform a printhead alignment to improve color accuracy.

  • Go to your printer's maintenance menu.
  • Select "Align Printhead" or a similar option.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment.

6. Print a Test Page

Print a test page to check if the printer is able to print in color generally:

  • Go to the printer's control panel.
  • Navigate to "Reports" or "Tools."
  • Select "Print Quality Diagnostic" or a similar option and print a test page.

7. Printer Reset

Power off the printer and disconnect it from the power source for a few minutes. Then, reconnect and power it back on to reset the printer.

8. Clean Ink Cartridge Contacts

If applicable, remove the cartridges and clean the copper-colored contacts with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
