HP LaseJet p1102w
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I am unable to print .pdf files to my HPLaserJet P1102w after upgrading to MacOS Big Sur version 11.2.3. I have downloaded specific HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers package as directed by Shlomil (many thanks for providing this resource) but received the attached error message after trying to install the printer package. Screen Shot 2021-03-18 at 11.02.54 AM.png

@strickke, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The printer is AirPrint compatible, I'd alternatively suggest you remove and add the printer using AirPrint drivers. Refer to the document HP Printers - Printing with Apple AirPrint (Mac)  for help.

Also, follow the steps below-

With the error screen on the computer,

  • Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy
  • Click on General tab > All apps downloaded from section > Select App Store and Identified developer
  • Click on the lock symbol at the bottom of the screen and enter the computer credentials to apply the changes.
  • Now click on the Open Anyway option.

Now you'll see an open option on the screen, tap on open, and complete the configuration.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
