Printer not showing main menu, so I can’t scan or copy.

printer works fine from Word, Excel etc

True - What you can do from the printer depends on whether the printer includes a full touchscreen printer control panel or simple buttons and lights.

General Discussion Points --

In general, touchscreen control panels offer more control and additional features as compared to the "buttons and lights" offered on simpler machines.  For example, a touchscreen menu might offer Copy with additional Resize options.

Examples of printers offering "buttons and lights" include (and are not limited to) DeskJet, Smart Tank

Examples of printers offering full touchscreen printer control panels include (and are not limited to) OfficeJet, Envy Photo, some MFP Laser printers

Word, Excel, other Office software is generally run on the device - for example, your supported Windows computer.
