Ik krijg op de HP LaserJet Pro de volgende melding als ik iets uitprint:

Plaats Standaard. Letter (8,5x11) in lade 1. Druk voor enkelzijdig op 'OK' voor het beschikbare papier.

Hoe krijg ik dit eruit? Als ik op OK druk komt de printafdruk eruit, maar het is irritant om na elke printopdracht op OK te drukken.

I get the following message on the HP LaserJet Pro when I print something out:

Place Standard. Letter (8.5x11) in tray 1. For single-sided, press 'OK' for available paper.

How do I get this out? When I press OK the printout comes out, but it is irritating to press OK after every print job.

Hi,

I don't seem to have the right privileges for private messages.

It's a HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4102dw.

Hi @Hannelore01,

Thank you for the response

Your HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4102dw is prompting you to manually confirm the paper size before printing. This usually happens when the printer paper settings don't match the print job settings. Here's how to fix it:

First, change the paper settings on the printer. Go to the Printer Control Panel, navigate to Setup > Paper Handling, select Tray 1 and set it to Letter (8.5x11) Standard. Look for an option like Tray Mode or Prompt Before Printing and disable it. Save the settings and restart the printer.

Next, change the paper settings on your computer. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click your HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4102dw, and select Printing Preferences. Under Paper/Quality, set the Paper Size to Letter (8.5x11 inches). Click OK and Apply the settings.

Check the paper type in the HP Smart app. Open the app, go to Printer Settings > Paper Handling, and make sure Tray 1 is set to Letter (8.5x11) and Plain Paper.

If the issue persists, perform a hard reset on the printer. Turn off the printer, unplug it for 2 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.

After making these changes, your printer should stop prompting you to press OK for every print job. Let me know if you need more help! 😊
