HP Officejet 8620

I have an Officejet 8620 that has the 'Failed or Missing Printerhead' error message. I have tried to reseat the printerhead many times (following the instructions posted) to no avail.

I have only used genuine HP ink cartridges from day one. And i have a full backup set that I now get to throw away.

This printer is used in a home setting with less than 100 pages printed per month. Many months under 50.

I am extremely disappointed that this has occurred. I have spent an entire day trying to clear this error... NOTHING!

I am now looking to buy another printer and more than likely another brand.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

If you have already performed the steps from the document Print head Errors: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778  and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
