Our office printers started crashing everytime you connect them to the network, something must have happened over the weekend. We have an Officejet 8720 in the Lobby and a color Laserjet as well. Monday it was just the 8720 so I went and got a new one. The brand new 8720 printer is doing the same thing. Now the Color Laserjet is as well. I've spent over 3 hours working with HP Support and they claim it's the network. I've already tried a different router, completely separate from the network and the problem remains. I've connected the printers directly to our modem with no other network devices attached except for a computer and they work for a little bit but the problem comes back. I've tried upgrading the firmware on the printers manually and they are up to date, still hasn't helped. Evertime they crash they provide a different error code that apparently means nothing. One of the errors is: "B841F226". I'm certain it's not the network and since one of the printers is brand new it's not possible we took a power surge on it. Any suggestions?

Does the 8720 also exibit the same condition if you print a copy from the front panel?

What router brand/model are you running?

The brand is Araknis, it's a enterprise grade networking company designed for smart homes / AV installations. As I mentioned I've tried bypassing the router and just using the Comcast Arris Gateway to run the office and had the same results.

Some more info. I'm aware of an issue earlier this year involving HP printers and some other brands. Araknis patched this back in June and I ran the updates in early July, haven't had an issue this whole time until this week.
Notes from the firmware update in June:
"Resolved Functional/Local Issues • DHCP Server Settings: Fixed issue with IPs to printers (specifically Hewlett-Packard)."

Have you tried a clean/new Windows 10 computer?

I have not done that but it's not the computers crashing, it's actually the printers saying there is an error, flashing an error code for a split second and then you have to reboot them. This happens each time they connect to the network.
