So, just connecting a ethernet cable to the router causes it to throw a error msg?

Yes, whether connected by ethernet or WiFi, multiple printers and I've tested with multiple routers off of our internal network.

Can you setup the Arris with a different IP range & connect it to ethernet port on the printer & a computer.

Make sure to use new ethernet cables.

Post results when you can.

I tried this morning with the Arris and another brand new Araknis router, same results.

To recap,

printing a copy from new 8720 from the printer panel - pass

printing from new 8720 over WiFi or ethernet - fail

Is the new 8720 on the same power circuit?

Is the new 8720 on the same power circuit? - They are on two different panels on opposite sides of our office.

Can you check the Print Processor - it should be winprint/raw.

HP has released updated software.  We updated the printers and they are working fine now.  Funny that they have not accepted any resposability and basically told me I'm crazy yet they released an update that fixed he problem.

Matt_IT, Where can I find the software update that HP has released? I'm having a similar problem with 2 printers in my office, except they arent on wifi or ethernet at all but I am getting that same code B841F226. Thanks!
