My Envy 4520 All-in-one printer has suddenly come up with the screen message:
ERROR CODE
0X00F81D42
TRKERNEL C
Have tried turning the printer off, but it reverts to this message after a very brief period of normal functioning.
Have also tried disconnecting the printer and removing the printer cartridges, same outcome.
Any ideas on the fix?
Thanks

I received this error message over and over again, trying everything I can on the forums to fix it. The fixes would work for a day or so, then an error code would happen again. Now the "help" is saying to service the printer. This was a $99 printer, purchased it because it was the only photoprinter that HP made. I switched from Espon many, many years ago. It's time to switch back, I guess. My epson printers seem to last much longer than HP, I can't see spending money on servcing a brand when I've had issues with HP time and time again.
