Hi @99FB,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the blinking lights and "Error A" on your HP DeskJet 4133e All-in-One Printer often indicate a printer hardware issue or a problem with the printer's connection or settings.

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
  • Turn the printer back on by pressing the power button.

2. Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions.
  • Remove any jammed paper carefully, making sure there are no torn pieces left inside.

3. Check the Ink Cartridges

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges to ensure they are seated properly.
  • If the cartridges are low or empty, replace them with new ones.

4. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • On your MacOS Sonoma system, go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  • Check if the printer is listed. If it's there, remove it by selecting it and clicking the minus (-) button.
  • Reinstall the printer by clicking the plus (+) button and following the prompts to add the printer back.

5. Check the Wireless Connection

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the same WiFi network as your Mac.
  • Run the HP Smart app on your Mac to check for any issues with the wireless connection.

6. Perform a Factory Reset on the Printer

  • If none of the above steps work, you may need to restore the printer to factory defaults. Check the printer's user manual for instructions on performing a factory reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
