Hi @OmoFather,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like there might be an issue with your HP Deskjet 2710 printer. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem.

  • Check Power Connection: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the printer and the power outlet. Also, make sure that the outlet is working by plugging in another device.
  • Power Cycle: Sometimes, power cycling the printer can resolve minor issues. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, wait for about 1-2 minutes, and then plug it back in. Try turning on the printer again.
  • Reset the Printer: Some printers have a reset button or sequence. Refer to your printer's manual to find out how to perform a reset.
  • Inspect for Physical Damage: Check the printer for any physical damage such as loose parts, broken components, or foreign objects obstructing the printer's mechanisms. I
  • Check Ink Cartridges: If the ink cartridges are incorrectly installed or empty, it might prevent the printer from powering on properly. Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly and have sufficient ink levels.
  • Update Firmware: Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause issues with the printer's functionality. Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP support website and follow the instructions to update it.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue with your HP DeskJet 2710 printer not powering on properly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
