If your HP Envy Photo 7855 printer is stuck or frozen during the startup process, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer by unplugging it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check Power Connection:

  • Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the power outlet.

Update Firmware:

  • Visit the official HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. If so, follow the instructions to update the firmware.

Reset the Printer:

  • On the printer control panel, locate the power button.
  • Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds until the printer turns off.
  • Wait for a few seconds and then turn the printer back on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Ensure that there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer that could be causing the issue.

Disconnect from the Network:

  • If your printer is connected to a network, try disconnecting it and see if the issue persists. This can help identify if the problem is related to the network connection.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

I hope this helps.
