Hi @JimmyMcClin

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015se is not printing in color, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check Ink Levels

  • Ensure that all color ink cartridges have sufficient ink. You can check ink levels via the printer display or the HP Smart app.

2. Remove and Reinstall Cartridges

  • Power Off the Printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove Cartridges: Take out all the cartridges.
  • Inspect Contacts: Clean the copper contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth.
  • Reinstall Cartridges: Reinsert the cartridges and make sure they click into place.

3. Run Print Quality Diagnostics

  1. From the printer control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Print Quality Diagnostic.
  2. Follow the prompts to run the diagnostic and check for any issues.

4. Clean the Printhead

  1. Go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
  2. Follow the instructions to perform a printhead cleaning.

5. Check Print Settings

  • Ensure that your print settings are configured to print in color:
    1. Go to Printers & Scanners on your computer.
    2. Right-click on your printer and select Printing Preferences.
    3. Make sure the Color option is selected instead of Grayscale.

6. Update Printer Drivers

  • Check if you have the latest drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

7. Perform a Firmware Update

  • Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can do this through the HP Smart app or by checking the HP website.

8. Print a Test Page

  • Print a test page to see if colors are coming through. This can help determine if the issue is with a specific application or with the printer itself

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
