Hi @SARU2,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The issue you're describing with your HP InkTank 319 printer, where the power button flashes and then goes off after turning on the mains power, typically points to a potential hardware problem or power supply issue. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and fix the problem.

Check the Power Cable and Outlet:

  • Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the electrical outlet.
  • Try plugging the printer into a different power outlet to rule out a power supply issue.

Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source and wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and try turning it on again. This can sometimes reset the printer and resolve the issue.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Sometimes, a paper jam or an obstruction in the printer can cause it to malfunction. Check for any paper stuck inside and clear it if necessary.

Inspect the Ink Cartridges:

  • Make sure the ink tank is properly installed and that no ink cartridges are obstructed or improperly seated.

Firmware/Software Reset:

  • If the printer was recently updated or there was a software issue, performing a hard reset might help. This involves pressing and holding the power button for 20-30 seconds, then releasing it and trying to power it on again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
